Crisp Air & Chords 2025 – Live Music on the Hill in Marshall, Arkansas

Annual fall concert at Grassy Road Cabins & Camping

If you were anywhere near our little hillside on November 14th, 2025, you already know—Crisp Air & Chords wasn’t just a concert this year. It felt like Marshall itself stepped out of the woods, into the firelight, and decided to celebrate together. Months of planning… rescheduling because of weather… nights hoping we hadn’t lost momentum… and then the moment the lights flicked on and the first guitar rang out, it all clicked. This was the night we’d been waiting for.

🎤 Bad Habit Brought the Heat

(And Then Some)

When the band hit that first chord, the crowd lit up like we plugged y’all into an outlet. People singing every word. The kind of energy you honestly can’t fake. Bad Habit didn’t just perform — they threw down a show. The music rolled across the campground, through the trees, over the hills, and right into the hearts of everyone who made the trip out.

🍔 Food Trucks, Coffee, and the Best Cakes in the Ozarks

Let’s just be honest — if you left hungry, that’s on you. Buffalo BBQ showed up with brisket quesadillas that changed lives. Street Brews Coffee Co. kept us caffeinated and warm. And then the cake auction… oh man. Local legends — Red River Café, The Springhouse, Humble Grounds, Big Springs Trading Co, Serenity Farm Bread, and Dogwood Hills — came together to donate cakes for our FFA fundraiser. When those cakes hit the auction table, the room got loud. Together, we raised $980 for Marshall High School FFA. Not bad for a windy November night.

🤝 Local Businesses, Big Hearts

This is what makes community so special: People don’t just show up — they chip in, lend a hand, donate what they can, and cheer each other on. From booths set up by: Ron Davis’ Little Rock GEICO Local Office, Dogwood Hills Guest Farm, Kize Nutrition, and our own T-shirt Booth. And representation by our sponsors: Crockett’s Canoe Rental, Ron Davis’ GEICO Local Office in Little Rock, 4K Land Services, and Kize Nutrition. It truly felt like community.

🙏 A Personal Thank You From Us

We (Jonathon & Kaitlyn, and the whole Grassy Road family) want you to know something: We don’t take this lightly. You chose to spend your weekend out here with us — listening to great music, supporting our local community, and being part of something that’s growing bigger every year. We’re learning, tweaking, building, dreaming… and you keep showing up. That means everything.

👕 Official Crisp Air Merch — A Surprise Hit

We knew the shirts were cool… But we didn’t expect to sell THAT MANY. Huge thanks to Sozo Graphics for making merch that people now wear like a badge of honor.

🌲 A Campground Full of Life

Lights shining from the treehouse, kids playing in the bounce house, guests from all over the state (and several from out of state), and a fireworks show to send the night into the record books. This was the busiest weekend we’ve ever had. And the most meaningful.

What’s Next? Crisp Air & Chords 2026

Oh yeah — we’re already planning. We’re going to need: vendors, sponsors, inflatables, horseback or atv rides, food trucks, a worthy local charity, and best of all music! Keep us in mind for musicians and bands, we’ll be on the hunt!

Friday Campfire Music October 17th

🎵 Thank You, Nathan Crouch

A huge thank-you to Nathan Crouch for kicking things off with an incredible performance on Friday night, October 17th! Even though Saturday’s show had to be cancelled, Nathan’s set made sure we still had an amazing night of live music around the campfires. We’re so grateful for his talent, his heart for local music, and for helping make Crisp Air & Chords a night to remember!
