Welcome to our little corner of the Ozarks. What began as a simple dream to share the beauty and peace of this land has grown into a place where families, friends, and travelers can slow down, breathe deep, and enjoy the outdoors together. We’ve built this campground by hand, piece by piece — every cabin, trail, RV site, and gathering space created with care. Our hope is that you feel at home here, make memories here, and return year after year as part of our Grassy Road family.
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Our Story
We came to Arkansas as new residents, eager to explore everything this beautiful state has to offer—just like many of you. On a family outing, we discovered the Buffalo National River and instantly fell in love with its peaceful beauty and sense of adventure.
When we found this little piece of land with one cabin in need of renovation, we knew we had found something special. Our family worked together to rebuild that first cabin in March 2023 (now Meadow View), and then started from the ground up on a second cabin, Orchard View, which we finished in March 2024. With the help of good friends and the support of kind neighbors, we built the RV park the following month, opening in April 2024.
We’ve hosted family, friends, and many new faces who quickly became friends. Some of our favorite memories have been made right here at Grassy Road Cabins and Camping—and our hope is that every guest who stays with us leaves with memories just as meaningful.
